Woman named to Circle of Excellence

June 03, 2002|STAFF REPORT

Avon Products Inc. has announced that Ven Favila of El Centro has been inducted into the company's prestigious Circle of Excellence for district managers. She received the award for placing among the top 10 percent of district managers nationally for her sales growth in 2001. Favila ranked No. 9 out of 1,790 Avon managers in the county.

This is the fifth time Favila has achieved the Circle of Excellence honor. She attributes her success to the group of Avon representatives who develop entrepreneurial, innovative ways to sell Avon cosmetics, toiletries, fragrances, jewelry and apparel items.

"I am fortunate to work with men and women who live by the principle that in order to succeed, you have to help others to succeed," Favila said. "Their focus on encouraging and inspiring others creates a cycle of success for all of us."

Said John Fleming, region vice president of sales for Avon West, "This select group of Circle of Excellence executives motivates our sales force and drives our U.S. business and continued growth,"
