Final election results were released early afternoon Tuesday, and while some races showed clear victories and losses in preliminary results, others had a chance of changing course.
However, no race changed this year. All candidates with a lead since the first count after the polls closed June 5 maintained their edge.
In the close races, Steve Benson maintained his lead for Imperial Irrigation Director Division 4 with 43.38 percent of the votes. He will move to a November runoff against incumbent Stella Mendoza. Bruce Kuhn also maintained his lead over incumbent IID Division 2 Director John Pierre Menvielle with 44.48 percent. They will face off in November as well.
Ryan Kelley won the Imperial County supervisor position for the District 4 seat with 53.78 percent of the votes.
In the judgeship races, Brooks Anderholt maintained his lead with 51.46 percent of the votes for Imperial County Superior Court Judge Seat 4 and Diane Altamirano did the same with 51.38 percent for Imperial County Superior Court Judge Seat 3.
Imperial County Registrar of Voters Sylvia Bermudez said the results will be certified and presented to the Imperial County Board of Supervisors at a meeting in coming weeks.
The results will then be sent off to the Secretary of State.
