EL CENTRO: Woman assaulted with iron 
A man who allegedly placed a hot iron on a woman recently was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence Saturday.
Moises Montejano was booked around noon, according to El Centro police call logs, but no further information was available.

$3,500 in copper burglarized
Miscellaneous copper pipes worth about $3,500 were reported as burglarized Saturday.
The copper pipes were part of an air-conditioning unit and were taken near the 300 block of Eighth Street, according to El Centro police call logs. 

HEBER: 10,000 pounds of hay seeds stolen
Some 10,000 pounds of hay seeds were reported stolen near Meloland and Heber roads Sunday.
Though reported Sunday, the burglary possibly took place Saturday, according to Imperial County Sheriff’s Office call logs.  

CALIPATRIA: Hit and run reported
Public safety agencies across the Valley were called to look for a gray Ford F150 pickup allegedly involved in a hit and run Sunday afternoon.
The vehicle was last seen on Kalin Road and Sinclair Road, according to Imperial County sheriff’s call logs.
