Salton City: Man refuses to leave restaurant

Reports of an individual lying on furniture and refusing to leave Portobello’s Italian Greek Cuisine restaurant in Salton City were made to Imperial County Sheriff’s Office deputies Monday.

As deputies arrived on scene it was apparent the individual had been drinking excessively, according to sheriff log records.

The individual was taken by Gold Cross Ambulance Service for treatment for medical problems, according to logs.

Seeley: Woman trips over dog, hurts leg

A Seeley woman contacted Imperial County Sheriff’s Office deputies because she believed her foot to be broken, Monday.

As deputies arrived they discovered she had been drinking and tripped over one of her dogs, according to sheriff’s logs.

Deputies contacted Gold Cross Ambulance Service for assistance, according to logs.
